October 8, 2001: Radio Interview Foxy Brown was interviewed for over an hour on Wednesday, October 3. Appearing on the Wendy Williams show on New York City R&B station 107.5 WBLS, Foxy divulged alot of information concerning her upcoming projects, including the release of a fourth new album on December 25, 2001. Other topics included Foxy's relationships with Spragga Benz, Jay, Nas, and ex-boyfriend Kurupt. A few days later, MTV News released an article on Foxy's upcoming album. In it, her brother and co-executive producer Anton Marchand was quoted, having told MTV News that "Broken Silence was for the streets. This album, we want to keep the streets as well as take the mainstream, make big radio songs." Marchand also mentioned that early 2002 might be a more realistic release date, though Foxy stated on Wednesday that the album was more than half completed. Expect Foxy to record with the Trackmasters and other producers with whom she worked on her 1996 debut, Ill Na Na. One song to be featured on the LP, untitled as of yet, is "BK Made Me." It is already surfacing on underground mixtapes. In other news, Foxy appeared at the West Indian parade in New York City on September 2nd, as shown below with Allison Hinds. ![]() |
