July 25, 2001: Broken Silence Hits Stores Released on July 17, Foxy Brown's first new album in three years debuts at number five. Broken Silence managed to sell 130,688 copies, about 50,000 less than 1999's Chyna Doll, which debuted at number one. This is a solid debut, and it seems as though Foxy will attain yet another platinum certification.
