June 6, 2001: New Album Garners Strong Reviews Foxy Brown's upcoming new album, Broken Silence, is reviewed in the July issue of Vibe magazine. They have given the record a rating of 3 1/2 out of 5, which is somewhere between "solid" and "exceptional." The July issue of The Source magazine gives the album a 4 out of 5 rating, which is "Slammin'- Definite Satisfaction." It's also reviewed in the July issue of XXL magazine. They gave it 4 out of 5, or "XL." According to Def Jam's Theda Sandiford, Foxy's official site, FoxyBrown.net, will be all new. Expect a superhero vibe, with Foxy appearing as Wonder Woman, Catwoman, and Storm in a "fully interactive comic book." Look for the new site to launch sometime in the near future. The music video for Foxy's next single, "Oh Yeah," has been completed. The video should make its first appearance on music channels by late June to early July.
