June 4, 2004: Future Collaborations with Shyne, Jay-Z? In a June 4 interview with New York radio personality Angie Martinez, incarcerated Def Jam artist Shyne spoke out for the first time since going to prison in 2001. He mentioned, among other things, plans (proposed by Jay-Z) to form an all-Brooklyn supergroup consisting of Jay, Shyne, and Foxy Brown. Shyne added that he expects to be released from prison in early 2005. His upcoming album, Godfather Buried Alive, due in stores August 10, features an appearance by Foxy on the track "More or Less." |
