According to DefJam.com, Foxy's long awaited third LP, Broken Silence, will be pushed back to July 17, 2001. This is the fifth in a string of tentative release dates; you may recall the album was originally set to drop July 18, 2000, then pushed back to November 7, then May 8, 2001, and most recently, June 5. At least there's one bit of reassuring evidence: Def Jam has recently opened its official Foxy Brown site, although it is a pretty weak one. Next week, Foxy will be in Jamaica to shoot the video for her upcoming second single, "Oh Yeah."
