April 25, 2001: New Album Update Expect a more street-oriented vibe on Foxy's third LP, Broken Silence, than on previous works. The long awaited album, which is due out June 5, will touch upon the controversies which have surrounded Foxy since her last release in 1998. "A Letter" serves as the intro, in which Foxy reflects on past mistakes with guest Ronald Isley. Other tracks include "BK Anthem," the album's first single, and the Caribbean-flavored "Oh Yeah." The latter will serve as the second single, and Foxy will be shooting an accompanying video (to be directed by Little X) in Jamaica from May 15 to 17. Kelis makes a guest appearance on the Neptunes-produced track "Candy," as do Capone-N-Noreaga on "Run Yo Shó." White female rapper China White, Foxy's protégé, helps out on "I Don't Care." Two additional tracks include "Every Little Thing" and "Saddest Day." |
